Spring newsletter 2018

Dear colleagues,

Welcome to the Centre for Systems Engineering and Innovation (CSEI) Spring Newsletter 2018. Below you can find updates on Centre's research outputs, industry engagement, hosted visits and forthcoming events to build capability for systems engineering and innovation in the building and infrastructure sector.

The UK sector deal on ‘Transforming Construction’ brings new opportunities for the Centre, which is keen to support the sector as it moves toward digital delivery and offsite construction. The research funding landscape is changing with new opportunities through the Industry Strategy Challenge Fund, and connections with the Alan Turing Institute, where we are recruiting new post-doctoral researchers to work on data-driven design under uncertainty.
