Summer Newsletter 2019

The Centre for Systems Engineering at Imperial College London is focused on the design and operation of complex systems. Our recent and ongoing work contributes strongly to the Transforming Construction agenda, that seeks to bring construction, manufacturing, digital and energy sectors together.

Our contribution is based on a systems approach, where we recognise infrastructure systems have non-linear interactions and there is a need to address multiple objectives, interdependencies, reliability, coordination, testing, safety and maintainability. We collaborate internationally, and team members have recently visited Japan, USA, and we have hosted high-level visits from Hong Kong and Singapore.
