Life beyond 408

At Imperial, each department has their own Society. Chemistry has ChemSoc, Physics has PhySoc… you get the idea.

Being part of EESoc meant that I had the opportunity to attend many of their events.

Just last week, EEsoc held their flagship event: New Years Dinner.  Held on the 22nd January at Gibson Hall, it was the first time I had the chance to attend an event at such an amazing place with the people I spend the most time with.

At Imperial, there will invariably be times when life is wholly consumed by work. We forget why we work so hard and we see our friends so often we forget what it’s like to hang out with them outside room 408.

And then there are events like this which makes everything much better.
