Guidelines on submitting notices

To submit a notice, please email staffpage@imperial.ac.uk. Below are suggested guidelines for what to include when writing different types of notices and adverts.

Please note that, prior to publishing, all adverts are reviewed and edited to comply with the Noticeboard’s communications guidelines and standard advert style.

Please let us know at staffpage@imperial.ac.uk if your notice becomes out of date, e.g. if you have rented out your accommodation or sold your item, so that we can keep the Noticeboard up to date. Please also note that we remove all notices after three months, unless informed otherwise.

Accommodation / Holiday accommodation

  • location
  • rent
  • information about facilities, rooms, nearby transport links, etc.
  • contact details
  • anything else of interest

For sale

  • detailed description of the item
  • cost
  • contact details
  • anything else of interest, e.g. if selling theatre tickets then mention where the seats are

Miscellaneous

  • contact details
  • as much information as necessary depending on subject matter

To do

  • date
  • time
  • location
  • cost (if any)
  • details of what the event involves
  • contact details
  • anything else of interest

Wanted

  • detailed description of what you are looking for
  • contact details
  • anything else of interest (see guidelines for other categories if what you are looking for falls into these)
