Hey there, wherever you are!

Hi! My name is Prakhar Nagpal. I’m a first-year Computing Student at Imperial.

This blog is going to be about the projects I do in my free time, how I go about them, interesting insights that I’ve drawn about things we’re learning from conversations with other students in Computing, and things I’ve learned reading or thinking about something I just find fascinating; completely unrelated to Computing.

I will talk about why you should care about Philosophy and the fact that it could literally save your life, among other things. I’m not kidding about that one. Stick around to find out why!

I will also talk about the lessons I’ve learned playing poker on the weekends, and how it’s helped me through the process of transitioning to college. Which you should not do. I do not condone playing online poker on the weekends while doing a degree at Imperial, no matter how fun it is. (Psst, It’s a lot of fun).

While I’m on the subject, I will also delve into the mathematics and strategy behind playing poker well. Once again, I repeat I do not condone…

Stick around, this should be fun!
