Are you interested in becoming a Full Member and working towards Chartered status with the Royal Society of Biology?
The Imperial Membership and Accredited Recognition Scheme (MARS) has been accredited by the Royal Society of Biology (RSB). This is an optional scheme for Doctoral researchers to receive accreditation for their training.
Applications from biological disciplines are invited, who are interested in becoming a Full Member of the RSB (MRSB) and progressing towards Chartered status (CBiol/CSci)).
Benefits; By joining the Royal Society of Biology and registering on the programme your training is recognised by the external professional body and potentially allows you to apply for Chartered status earlier in your career.
On the scheme; You can progress from Associate Member(AMRSB) to Full Member, and start your development towards Chartered Status – depending on your degree and your experience level. Applications for Chartership can only be made after suitable post-doctoral experience.
