Bugs! Day is an event created by the Grand Challenges in Ecosystems and the Environment group (GCEE). This is an annual event at Imperial’s rural Silwood Campus which opens it’s doors to the public for a day of creatures, fun and exploration.

Some very brave bug hunters come right up to the (safe!) rear of the hive to look at the viewing panels which show the activity inside the hive, I remember being shown this at a similar age and was absolutely blown away. There was also honey from the hive for free tastings.

These young ladies get a result early on during the bugs safari.
