I’ve been at Imperial College for just over three years now, following undergraduate studies and postgraduate studies at La Trobe and Melbourne Universities in Australia.
I am currently a Research Associate within the Department of Life Sciences, where I work on the identification and characterisation of anti-malarial transmission blocking vaccine targets. This work is funded by the Medical Research Council and aims to develop a range of novel transmission blocking interventions to benefit the field of molecular parasitology and disease control. I collaborate widely, with non-profit organizations, specialist vaccinology groups and field-based laboratories.
Alongside my research interests I am a member of the Postdoctoral Committee where my main roles include facilitating the organisation of monthly beer and pizza socials and representing the Postdoc Committee at the PFDC Reps Network.
