EBS Journal Club

Who we are:

The Epidemiology journal club meets twice a month to discuss epidemiological topics and methodology. The journal club is formed by the Postgraduate reps, Tom Bond and Charlotte Roscoe and a Post doctoral representative of EBS, Jessica Laine.

We welcome anyone intrigued by the field of Epidemiology! If you are interested in joining, feel free to come to any meeting. If you want to receive calendar invites and announcements, please sign up for our mailing list, by emailing Jessica Laine.

 Where and when:

Our group meets every 2 weeks on Wednesdays at 15:30 to 16:30 in the EBS first floor meeting room (beside the kitchen) with tea, coffee, and nibbles, starting on 17/10/18

Papers we are reading:

We are starting this school year with the International Journal of Epidemiology Series on Causality. We will be reading all 10 of the papers in the series. If you would like to sign up to present, please do so here:

Our first meeting will be on 17 of October with, “Causality and causal inference in epidemiology: the need for a pluralistic approach.

The School of Publish Health Statistics Reading Group, meets every 2 weeks on Wednesdays at 11am in Praed st meeting room. The first meeting for this term is on 24/10.
