Workshop on "Aggregation-Diffusion PDEs:

Variational Principles, Nonlocality and Systems"

Anacapri, 10-14 July, 2017

To reach Capri:

Fast boats for Capri (approximately 50 minutes, 19.10 euro) leave from Molo Beverello.
Slower, larger boats (whose travel lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes for the slowest one, 12 euro) leave from Calata di Massa.
You may have a look at the website http://www.capri.net/ for a constantly updated timetable and many more information about the island.

To reach Molo Beverello:

From the airport:

You can use the bus line called Alibus: the bus usually leaves every 20 minutes from the stop in front of the arrivals, it takes you to Piazza Municipio and the ticket cost is 3 euro.
From there you have just to cross the street (via A. Acton) in front of the bus stop to reach the port.

You can take a taxi. There is a fixed fare ("tariffa predeterminata") of 19 euro (including luggage charges) that you have to ask for before taking the taxi.
Here you can find all the taxi fares. It might be worth to have them printed.

From the railway station

You can take the tram n.1 stopping in front of the railway station, close to the statue of Garibaldi (see a map here).
The ticket, which you should buy in advance in a newspaper stand inside the railway station, costs 1 euro. The tram stops just in front of the port.

You can take a taxi. There is a fixed fare ("tariffa predeterminata") of 11 euro (includes luggage charges) that you have to ask for before taking the taxi.
Here you can find all the taxi fares. It might be worth to have them printed.

To reach Calata di Massa (which is inside the Molo Beverello):

The taxi fare is the same as that for Molo Beverello. To reach it by bus you should go to Molo Beverello and then take a free shuttle taking you to Calata di Massa.

To reach Anacapri from the harbour in Capri (Marina Grande)

You can take a bus that leaves on the left (facing the sea) of the harbour.

Another option (which should be taken into account in case of long waits or queues) might consist in taking the cable car (the Funicolare) connecting Marina Grande to Capri, and a bus from Capri to Anacapri.
