THE IMPERIAL CENTRE FOR INFERENCE AND COSMOLOGY:

The Imperial Centre for Inference and Cosmology (ICIC) is a centre for the study of statistical and inferential challenges associated with massive and/or complex data streams in astrophysics and cosmology. It is a collaborative effort between the Astrophysics Group in the Department of Physics and the Statistics Section in the Department of Mathematics and a world-class centre of expertise in the statistical analysis of large astronomical datasets. Together this group is spearheading the establishment of astrostatistics as a discipline capable of providing accurate, robust, and insightful answers to complex theoretical problems in astrophysics and cosmology.
