Scholarships
Imperial College Business School is pleased to offer significant scholarship funding to our most talented applicants for the September 2016 intake of the Full-Time MBA. Scholarships are available to a range of applicants and all self-funded candidates are automatically considered for a scholarship.

Full-Time MBA 2016/2017 scholarships:

Forté Foundation Fellowships

Imperial College Business School is a proud member of the Forté Foundation, a non-profit organisation that champions women’s progression within business through access to education. We are pleased to offer Forté Fellowships to outstanding female students joining the programme.

Award: Scholarships of up to £22,500 are available.

Eligibility:
The Fellowships are open to all women applying to the MBA programme.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership skills through academic achievement, or in roles as team or community leaders, and show a commitment to helping women achieve their career potential through personal mentoring or community involvement.

The scholarships will be awarded to applicants based on the following criteria:

  • The information supplied in your original application to the programme, including a strong academic background, a high and well-balanced GMAT score, and an excellent track record of professional achievement
  • Your performance during the admissions process, where academic and professional merit will be judged
  • A demonstrable track record of leadership in in your field
  • Commitment to Forté’s mission of launching women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, opportunities, and a community of successful women
  • Your professional references

Deadline: The final application deadline is 24 June 2016.

How to apply:Female candidates who apply before 24 June and receive an offer for the Full-Time MBA programme commencing in September 2016 will automatically be considered. All candidates should address the requirements of the scholarship in their personal statement.

Imperial Business Scholarships

Scholarships of up to to one third of the programme fees (£15,000) are available for candidates with high potential for career advancement.

Award: Scholarships of up to £15,000 are available.

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability and passion to meet the challenges present in today’s dynamic global business environment, to make a positive difference as socially responsible leaders for tomorrow.

We are particularly seeking applicants with a proven track record in: Pharmaceutical/Healthcare, Energy, Telecoms, Science/Technology, Engineering, Consulting or Military.

The scholarship will be awarded to applicants based on the following criteria:

  • A strong academic background, a high and well-balanced GMAT score, and an excellent track record of professional achievement
  • Your performance during the admissions process, where academic and professional merit will be judged
  • Your professional references

Imperial Loyalty Bursary

We welcome applications from alumni of Imperial College London.

Award: The bursary is a 20% reduction in the total fees equating to £9,000 for the Full-Time Imperial MBA starting in September 2016.

Eligibility:
The bursary is available to candidates with the following degrees from Imperial College London:

  • An undergraduate degree passed at upper second class or higher
  • A postgraduate degree

How to apply: Eligible candidates who receive an offer for the Full-Time MBA programme commencing in September 2016 will automatically receive the bursary.

Dorothy Griffiths Scholarships

The Dorothy Griffiths Scholarships for Excellence will be offered to candidates who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and a drive for innovation, excellence and gender parity.

Award: Scholarships of up to £10,000 are available.

Eligibility:
The scholarships will be awarded to applicants based on the following criteria:

  • A strong academic background, a high and well-balanced GMAT score, and an excellent track record of professional achievement
  • Your performance during the admissions process, where academic and professional merit will be judged
  • Your professional references
  • Demonstration of a drive for innovation, excellence and gender parity

Imperial Women's Scholarships

The Imperial Women's Scholarships are awarded as a celebration of gender diversity.

Award: Scholarships of up to £15,000 are available.

Eligibility:
Successful candidates will demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and professional excellence.

The scholarship will be awarded based on the following criteria:

  • The information supplied in your original application to the programme, including a strong academic background, a high and well-balanced GMAT score, and an excellent track record of professional achievement
  • Your performance during the admissions process, where academic and professional merit will be judged
  • Your professional references

Brilliant Minds MBA Scholarship

Scholarships of up to half programme fees (£22,500) are available for successful applicants who display exceptional intellect, show employability potential and who otherwise might not be able to fund study on the programme.

Award: Scholarships of up to £22,500.

Eligibility:
The scholarship will be awarded to applicants based on the following criteria:

  • A very strong academic background, a high and well-balanced GMAT score, and an excellent track record of professional achievement
  • Your performance during the admissions process, where academic and professional merit will be judged
  • Your professional references
  • A first class honours degree preferred

Future Leaders MBA Scholarship

We are keen to recruit new students to the class with high potential for future leadership.

Award: Scholarships of up to half programme fees (£22,500) are available.

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability and passion to become a visionary business leader. To be considered for this scholarship, you must display promising leadership qualities and show employability potential in your application.

The scholarship will be awarded to applicants based on the following criteria:

  • A strong academic background, a high and well-balanced GMAT score, and an excellent track record of professional achievement
  • Your performance during the admissions process, where academic and professional merit will be judged
  • Your professional references
  • Under six years’ postgraduate work experience preferred

Please note:

  • Scholarships are awarded by Imperial College Business School’s scholarships board. The board’s decision is final and no appeals will be granted.
  • Scholarship recipients will be expected to carry out ambassadorial duties.
  • To be considered for any scholarship you must have an offer of a place on the Full-Time MBA programme.
