As the College gears up for the start of term, alumni associations and Imperial College Union societies linked up to prepare new international students for studying at Imperial and living in London.

Over 170 alumni and guests attended a reception with the Rector, Sir Keith O’Nions, at the British High Commissioner’s Residence in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 9 August.
The Imperial College Alumni Assocation of Malaysia recruited 75 new members: a 50% rise in membership in just one evening. The Rector commented: “I am thrilled that my first visit to Malaysia has been for one of the biggest events the country has ever seen for Imperial alumni.”
