New e-journals

Library Services have recently purchased the following new titles for our e-journal collection.

Advances in Ecological Research Online

Advances in Ecological Research presents a wide range of reviews on all aspects of ecology. It’s currently under Imperial College co-editorship, and topics include the physiology, populations, and communities of plants and animals, as well as landscape and ecosystem ecology. The e-journal includes issues from 2011 onwards.

Silwood Park Campus Library also has print volumes for 1962 to 2014, which can be borrowed. Check Library Search to find individual volumes, and if you’re not at Silwood, sign in and use the Request option to have a volume sent to your campus library.

AIAA Meeting Papers

We now provide electronic access to all AIAA Meeting Papers (since 1963) – that means 5000 new papers each year. This is a key resource to those involved in aeronautical engineering and related disciplines. The Meeting Papers are made available through AIAA’s “digital library” – Aerospace Research Central.

We are also in the process of greatly increasing our electronic access to AIAA journals – more news on this in a few weeks.

Medical research titles

These titles have been moved from print only to e-journals to allow easy access across all campuses:

Advances in Cancer Research
Advances in Virus Research
Advances in Immunology
Advances in Pharmacology

The best way to access all our e-journals is through Library Search – if you are away from an Imperial site you will be prompted to enter your College username and password.
