About this blog

‘NeurOn Topic: Learning and Teaching’ is a brand new Imperial blog. The founder and editor of the blog is Dr Stefano Sandrone, Senior Teaching Fellow within the Faculty of Medicine, and the contributors are the MSc Translational Neuroscience students at Imperial College London.

The key aims of ‘NeurOn Topic: Learning and Teaching’ are to enhance the curriculum, innovate pedagogy, highlight the contribution of women in academia within and outside the College, and engage and inspire the society.

The first blog post features an interview led by some among the current neuroscience students with Dr Magdalena Skipper, former Imperial alumna and new Editor-in-Chief of Nature. She is the first female Editor-in-Chief over the last 149 years and started her new role at the beginning of July.
