Move Along!

So. 4 weeks done. Week 5 begins today… and boy, does it feel longer than 4 weeks that I have been here…it feels like 4 months!

What’s happening?… plenty! This week is assignment week to the max. We have a debate tomorrow for Health Informatics, a presentation in Marketing and a report to hand-in for Accounting next week. Basically this means a lot of group meetings, unhealthy food, coffee and blood/sweat/tears!! Nope, I’m just joking. We’re all actually doing quite well. We planned our meetings and what bits of the assignment who will be working on in advance to avoid last minute surprises and such like…so hopefully it will all go smoothly.

Apart from the serious stuff… I have still not explored London too much… I tend to be lazy and quite anti-step-out-in-the-cold, so unfortunately, so far, only managed to catch a couple of dinners and a movie at Westfield Shopping Centre near where I live. I will do more next weekend (maybe, if I’m not lazy!). Should do something for Bonfire Night (typically, go enjoy the fireworks displays) … but, let’s see!

Oh and super-duper happy… got selected to be the Student Ambassador of the Imperial College Business School. Such an exciting role…get to meet with the other ambassadors (from other MSc. courses), chat with and take prospective students on tours AND there’s a welcome drinks night next week! Love Imperial <3

Hmm… what else do I have to say that’s interesting? Nothing in particular! I’m waiting for the snow! I just think it’s sooooo pretty when it snows. I will of course, put up pictures once it snows!

And, the one in my head this week, “Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I’ll try again tomorrow.” -Mary Anne Radmacher

And a song to go with this theme :

Move Along – The All-American Rejects

Until next time then… take care.

Avanti  😉
