Imperial celebrates LKCMedicine launch

Singapore’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), a collaboration between Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Imperial College London, welcomed its first 54 students this August. The partnership between Imperial College London and Nanyang Technological University has created the newest medical school in Singapore, the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, where recently 17 Imperial students undertook 3 or 6 week elective placements. A medical school in the making: A progress report from Singapore

On 9 July, Professor Sir Anthony Newman-Taylor hosted an event to update colleagues on the latest news on the development of the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCSoM), Imperial’s joint medical school in Singapore. The event attracted over 120 people from across the Faculty of Medicine, the wider College and beyond, and was also attended by the Deputy High Commissioner for Singapore, Mr Stephen Quick.
